Carbon Neutral

Just a few thoughts have been humbugging around my head lately. Which is no surprise really given the urgent call to change our current paradigm of living,(ie. consumption, dependce on fossil fuel and disrespect for the planet).
Finding ourselves, as a species, faced with inevitable massive climate change, The Coop has put a little thought into the way we can reduce impact we have on the planet. We would like to offer free trees and native plants to our customers making us a carbon neutral non-profit community organisation. Pioneering the way for other community groups . This benefits all members of the community, as well as the planet. It also presents an incentive to shop locally and responsibily, putting value back into products made with care and with considerartion for the planet, as opposed to imported mass produced items.

The seed of this thought is planted. Let us nurture it, so it may grow!
